United Community Activity Network (UCAN) have teamed up with Birmingham City Council (BCC), LGK in the Community, Holford Drive Community Sports HUB and Continental Star FC for the 8th year running for the annual festive food bank. The project is also supported by some of Birmingham’s largest food distributors to lift the cities festive spirits and offer the needy an opportunity to join in with the festive food bank. This year has been difficult for many of us with the unstable climate and constant change in restrictions. The pandemic has changed the way we live and work but has also had a massive impact on the food poverty issue in the city.
A special thanks goes out to Diane, Becky and the numerous volunteers who gave up their time to ensure that the various organisations/ charities received their food parcels and toys.
